I've lost over twice the amount
of what Roz weighs!

On July 19th, 2003 I was rushed to the hospital while on vacation with what I thought was a heart attack. Turns out it was my gall bladder filled with gallstones.

The ultrasound doctor was doing his thing, when the surgeon came in to find out my results. He told the surgeon I was "too big" to get a clear picture. Thankfully the surgeon was kind enough to tell him off and he quickly located the problem.

I had been 225 lbs for over 24 years, no diets I had ever tried worked. When I returned home 2 days after the surgery, everyone remarked it looked like I had lost some weight. The scale told the tale, 10 lbs was GONE. Two weeks later, my doctor informed me I had high cholesterol. I asked him if I could try a diet before going on pills, and he agreed to let me try.

This got me thinking, maybe now I could really lose some weight. So I researched all the popular diet plans. The plans were either too expensive (LA weightloss) or down right dangerous (Atkins). Then some friends started telling me about Weight Watchers. One friend even brought me her supplies to look at, this is what made me decide this was the plan for me.

I purchased the Home Kit for $99 from http://www.weightwatchers.com
